Mr David Gilmore is the Principal of Gilmore Lawyers and established the firm in 2006. He qualified as a barrister of the Middle Temple in England in 1988 and practiced as a barrister in London England for many years. David migrated to Australia in 2000 and has continued his law practice here since that time. He has very extensive experience in many areas of the law but now specialises in criminal defence and small business law.
David’s profile in England included work on high-profile terrorist cases and in Australia his practise is both serious matters including murder allegations, serious drug offences and other very serious crimes – and more general criminal defence work. He does not act in sexual offence cases.
David also assists many small businesses with their day-to-day legal requirements.
Mr Gilmore holds an Honours degree in law from the University of Manchester England. He has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor in England and Wales, and as a solicitor in Queensland, and as a practitioner of the High Court of Australia.
